Our Linguists

Quality is at the core of all our services. It begins with the initial choice of our translation teams. BeatBabel’s business model is built on assigning work to specialized translation resources worldwide in addition to our in-house linguists, project managers and QA specialists.

BeatBabel has an excellent standing among translators, offering them training, technology assistance, online access to projects, detailed instructions and on-time payment. This process allows us to recruit and retain the best linguists in the industry.

Our global network of translators consists of native speakers of the project's target languages who have extensive and proven expertise in specific fields from software and web localization to medical and legal translation.

In most cases, they live in the country for which our clients' translations are intended and are in tune with the day to day terminology and colloquialisms.

Our translators hold an advanced degree in translation or in one of our specialist subject fields (medical, business, engineering, legal...). Many of our translators are SDL/Trados certified and all have completed extensive training. Their experience and skills ensure our clients’ documents will be fully understood in their target markets.

BeatBabel’s translators and editors are part of professional networks such as the American Translators Association (ATA), GALA or ProZ as well as overseas translation associations. Keeping a permanent team of linguists enables us to develop client-specific expertise, which is reinforced by the use of SDL Trados or other CAT tools for all our projects to ensure consistency.

All of our linguists have been tested and approved through a carefully designed process. While working on our projects, additional tests and quality checks are conducted to maintain the consistently high quality of BeatBabel's work.

BeatBabel's linguists work in tightly integrated teams of specialists. For more information about other teams and our approach to project management, please click on Project Management, meet some of our team members or our translators.
