Juliane

Born and raised in Germany, Juliane always had a big passion for languages. So far, she has studied French, Spanish, and Gaelic and has a bachelor’s degree in Japanese studies from Leipzig University - but there are always more languages to dabble in…

Beyond that, her biggest dream had always been to study and live in Japan, and to travel the country she had been fascinated by since young age. And after a short delve into Media and Communication Science, Juliane finally got the chance to spend a year abroad at Chiba University close to Tokyo in 2016 during her studies. With that dream out of the way - and Japan thoroughly explored - it was time to find a new goal in life.

Trying to put her powers of multilingualism to a good purpose, Juliane pursued her master studies in Software Localization at Anhalt University of Applied Science in Köthen, Germany, and worked on the translation of an indie video game – one of her passions – for her Master’s thesis.

Juliane recently moved to San Diego to start working as a Project Coordinator for BeatBabel and to discover a completely new part of the world, professionally and geographically.
