Translators Without Borders

BeatBabel is proud to be a Sponsor of Translators Without Borders (TWB), a non-profit organization whose mission is to increase access to knowledge through humanitarian translations. Translators Without Borders facilitates the transfer of knowledge from one language to another by creating and managing a community of NGOs who need translations as well as professional translators who volunteer their time to help.

BeatBabel is a certified member of the Trados Language Service Provider (LSP) Partner Program. Trados offers technology solutions in Global Information Management (GIM). Our translators and project managers are Trados-certified and use the entire Trados tools suite on a regular basis.

American Translator's Association

BeatBabel is a corporate member of the American Translators Association. The ATA is a professional association founded to advance the translation and interpreting professions and foster the professional development of individual translators and interpreters. Its 10,000 members in more than 80 countries Include translators, interpreters, project managers, web and software developers, language company owners, hospitals, universities and government agencies.

GALA is a nonprofit international organization comprised of members specializing in language services and technologies. Comprised of more than 400 companies from 45 countries, GALA encourages local communication as a vital component of global strategy.

BeatBabel is corporate member of ELIA (European Language Industry Association) and agrees to conduct its business in accordance with the Elia Code of Conduct. Elia is the European not-for-profit trade association of language service companies with a mission to accelerate its members’ business success.

BeatBabel is a member of Tekom (the European Association for Technical Communication). Tekom Europe is the largest professional association for technical communication worldwide. Founded in November 2013 in Germany, the association represents the interests of creators and users of user information at a European level. Tekom supports important EU objectives such as improving the training of young people, the employability and mobility of workers as well as the competitiveness of the European economy in general.

BeatBabel is a member of ALC (Association of Language Companies). ALC is a United States based organization that promotes the professional stature and economic position of the language service industry through industry advocacy and professional development of language company owners and senior management.
